i have an ipo403 which i am not able to connect thru the modem...im sure the settings are correct coz i compared to all the ipo403 that i installed...i changed the modem already but still failed...help pls...

What modem do you mean?
What software version?
How do you dial in?

Please give as much details as you can think of, then maybe someone can help you.

Modem 2? Did you assign an incoming call route to the modem or did you assign an extension to the RAS and then dial that extension to get the modem?

As intrigrant said; you're not giving us much to go on.

i can dial-in to the modem and hear the tone response...but i am having a "cannot be authenticated due to invalid user/pword" but im sure i am entering the correct user/pword...and i have 2 out of 5 ip403's installed that i can't connect thru modem2...

I have had this problem before with an ISDN Dialup

despite the user & password being correct the IPO saya Pasword fail

the cause turned out to be an un-named TimeProfile with no times set

The RemoteManager User by default has no time profile, but when a time profile is created with no name, this is seen as a match & the call is rejected.

? Which user name/password settings are you using. The default are those of the RemoteManager user in the IP Office config.
