I have recently installed an older internal modem in our NT server. It all works fine apart from the fact that it is too loud! In the modem properties the volume control is grayed out. Is there standard commands which you can set in the initialisation stage to set the volume control.
Thanks
Open Hyper Terminal and enter test for the current session,
then cancel from the dial pop up box so you are just looking at a blank window.

then type followng

at mn n=0
at ln n=0

The first will turn speker off
the second will make it the lowest possible volume
make sure you use zero and not letter o
The Geek

Dont be afraid to share what you know. There are no losers in our arena, only self rightous monkeys atop thier own tree.

Actually I made it hard, just do the below commands for the same results

ATM0

or

ATL0

Also, this is per session and not permenant settings.
The Geek

Dont be afraid to share what you know. There are no losers in our arena, only self rightous monkeys atop thier own tree.
