In previus post i was asking about linux-linux vpn, but now i would like to know if my adsl drops down, but my remote connection must work, can i call from one machine direct to oter via ISDN modem and estabish a "direct" backup connection.
Will your ISP accept an ISDN termination? Basically, you dial your ISP just like you would with any other modem. Plus, you can't run ISDN over a DSL line, they terminate into two different types of equipment. Your mish-mash of terminology makes me think that you don't really understand the technologies involved here.
Do you actually have an ISDN line and a DSL line coming into your building? If you did, then a better approach would be to keep both lines up and load balance across the two, that way if one went down the other would (hopefully) stay up and traffic would route over that link.
yes i have adsl and isdn.
I have 2 locations wich will be connected with VPN (ADSL), but if my ADSL drops i want to dial from one machine direct to other to establish a connection.
