Dell Dimension 2400 built-in modem starts dialing the ISP but then a time out message is received. The other computer is able to dial out with out a problem. There is no error messages just the time out and i'm not really sure what it could be.
Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.
