Modem Speed Thru A/L Cards

What's the maxinmum speed a standard modem will operate at when connected to an A/L card - ELU 29 for eg.

I have had 56K on an ELU29, the theoratical max. should be 64K.

Hey Barry,

all ana. modems, over copper. will no possibly a max of 50,xxx, download. and upload @ 36k,

If your modem/pc reports 56k then your using the wrong modem, mod.ini file.

In BC11/12 set the icat to 1000
bearer service is then 3,1khz instead of speech .
This will allow higher bandwith for modem/fax .
