Modem Setup 1

My system crashed the other day and I need help reconfiguring my modems. I have never installed a modem on AIX and I need to install a modem to dial out. If anybody has any pointers I would apreciate it.

Are really the best docs for doing this. Too long to copy here...but if you can't

The setup is dependent on the modem that you have. The US Robotics setup id different than the IBM options. What are you trying to configure. I the congfigurations for both. jl1@gty.ci.henderson.nv.us

recently, i had the same problem (usrobotics) and figured it out by looking at the site and doing the things described there for UNIX - it works!

you may try surfing the web of your modem manufacturer.
