Can anyone provide me with information on how to change the settings on Rockwell HCF 56K Data Fax PCI Modem. I would like to have it "NOT ANSWER" when calls ring in. It is installed on an HP Home PC Model 6545C.

Are there Auto Answer settings ?
Thank you.

It's not a modem setting you're after, it's a software thing.
If you have a fax program, look in the preferences of that.
If you're not running a fax prog, look in the BIOS (such as it is) of your HP, for any "wake on", or "auto answer" settings (some do, some don't).
Also take a look at the properties of your dial-up-networking settings for your connection.
If you STILL can't find anything, in the advanced settings box of modem properties, put: S0=0 (That's S zero = zero) Cheers,
Jim
