Hi,

I am working on a network that has three sites. One site holds all of the servers and a LinkSys modem router with an address of 192.168.150.50. This same site has a Cisco 2600 with 2-T1 cards. Each of those is connected to remote sites also using Cisco 2600's, for a total of 3 sites. The two remote sites only have workstations, no servers.

I would like to be able to give the remote sites access to the internet via the modem router at the main site. However I can't ping the modem router from the remote sites even though I can ping other addresses on the same subnet as the modem router. Anybody have any ideas on this?

Brian

Sounds like a missing route in the LinkSys Router. Where does its default route point to? The internet? You should have a route entry to each of your remote sites in the LinkSys.

I will take a look at that. At this point I'm not sure. I sort of inherited this network. It is on my list of things to fix.

Thanks,

Brian
