modem on ivs2

using hyper terminal i have no problem connecting to several nec 2000 systems.

I have tried hyper terminal and matworx to connect to several 2000ivs2 systems but my number connects but times out after about 30 sec.
When I dial my number and it connects--modem makes sort modem sound then stops and pauses for 5 sec them makes normal sound until my number goes times out or goes to fast busy.
top piano key 4 turned on
4018 set to 1
4012 set to 15
4013 set to 1

You also need 3004 > trk# > modem ext to complete the programming.

Have you tried connecting locally via a single line port in the PBX? This could help rule out a trunk issue.
Also make sure CM 4011>1>7, 4008>1>NONE, 4000>1>NONE, and 0401>01> cannot be a 1. Must be 0 or 7.
