Modem Not Responding in Windows XP

I have a Motorola Internal Modem. It was working perfectly in Windows 98. Since I upgraded to Windows XP, it does not detect my modem. When I query for a modem, it shows that no modem found. But if I skip automatic detection of modem and install the modem manually, it allows me to install the driver, but if I try to query my modem, it gives a error stating that the modem cant be found.

Please Help

Some older Modems just don't work with XP. Get a new one.
