Anyone know of modem for a 2950 III w/pci-e slots?

If hould be law, no internal modems should be install in a server....

If you want to fry a server this is the best way, even if your telco/surge protector provides protection. If you must put a modem in, get an external and go through the com ports and get a really good surge protect on the telco line, just ahead of the modem.

I hadn't thought about a modem connecting to the com port - do they still make those :) I'll have to look and see, I may have one around here somewhere.

I have a good surge protector for it already, there's a modem in the server I'm replacing.

Running small business server here, routing faxes to the companyweb intranet is a must.
