I'm looking for an another modem emulator software to replace Procomm 4.8.

Although the present version functions well on Windows XP, the manufacturer has a Red Light on developing future versions of Procomm. My concern is eventually Procomm will no longer be compatable with future versions of Windows.

My emulation needs are to 'speak' VT-100, ATT 4410, and Wyse 50 to Nortel, Octel, and Avaya systems. Need file capture capabilities along with on-screen chats with the servers when doing MACs. A robust dialing directory and scripting similar to Aspect is important too. Telnet with FTP a plus.

Your recommendations?

REFLECTIONS works quite well.
Lots of bells and whistles, and runs scripts quite well too.

Do what we do...keep a laptop with Win2k loaded on it. Or always keep your Win2k disk handy for another laptop for dual-boot use.
