I have 3com US Robotics 56k faxmodem. I can connect to the internet with it, but when i try and load a web page i get an error message saying that the server could not be found. ( i do not know the exact error message). This happenes with other progs not just netscape navigator.

Hi,
If works but does not then it would be a dns problem. Do you have the IP addresses of your ISP's dns servers in /etc/resolv.conf ?
