I have a PCI ADSL modem (connexant accessrunner), installed in my old win98 machine, never missed a beat.
New PC, WinXP and it works about 30% of the time. Sometimes if connects straight away, sometimes after a delay, but more often than not never, it just sits there saying I should ying attempting to activate line.

I believe that I have the settings the same as my win98 pc, so put it down to my drivers. Is there a command string I can send from hyperterm to find out the fcc number of my modem so I can identify whose drivers I should be using ? - the Connexant website doesn't appear to list drivers.

Anyone care to post the correct settings (UK) so I can double check them as well ?

Anyone here using a connexant accessrunner with xp (is it possible ?)

TIA,

K
