I'm setting up my Win2k machine to act as a dial-up
server. I want to set the number of rings for autoanswer
on the incoming modem. I can add "ats0=1" to the "Extra
initialization settings" in the modem control panel BUT
this doesn't take effect until a connection to this modem
is opened. Thus, I have to manually open a connection (say
a dial out networking connection) to get the modem initialized and from then on it will autoanswer. What
I really need is for the modem to be in autoanswer mode
when the machine boots.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dave
