I was wondering why does AutoCAD stick a -model.plt on the end of every drawing name when I create a plot file? I am working in model space but is there a way to shut this off? I just want the name.plt. Do I need to switch tabs before i print or what? Any help is appreciated.

Hi Jon,

You'll have to rename the file itself everytime you plot, as AutoCAD appends the current tabname to every plot file. Just look in the lower right hand corner under the "Plot to File" frame for the file name.
