Good Day,

Is there a command that shows which model the server is. For example, whether it's Dell PowerEdge 1950 or PowerEdge 2950?

If the package [green]dmidecode[/green] is installed...

Try biosdecode or dmidecode. See the man pages for parameters. dmidecode -t 3 worked for me on an intel box that I have running centos.

Yep, omreport is good too. Just be aware though that it is Dell-specific (part of the Dell OpenManage package) so won't be useful on other brands of servers, if you have them.
