Our database has just been migrated from Oracle 9i to 10g. (10.1). Going through the new features I've become intrigued by the Model Clause. This clause strikes me as having a lot of potential but I'm not quite sure what to do with it. I've read the documentation from the Sql reference and the Data Warehousing Guide. I've looked over a few articles, done the usual lit research. I've also written several example queries to see what I can see about it from the hands-on level.

My questions;
1. Has anyone here implemented it in production, and if so how did that go?
2. Has anyone here found a clever use for it that isn't evident in the documentation?
3. What are some of the drawbacks people have encountered with this?
