I am chasing down a performance issue in a topology with a 2424 load balancer connected in between a Checkpoint firewall and Cisco Catalyst switch on trunk ports. The problem manifests itself under load conditions in the form of latency and dropped out-of-state packets on the firewall. I am running OS 22.0.2.0 and have a copy of the 3.1.1.0 monitoring GUI to track behavior.
What are certain metrics or behaviors I should look for in order to determine where, or if, the 2424 is part of the problem or can point to where the problem is?
