mod_rewrite problem on tomcat with jsp

hi!
I got a problem.. and maybe anyone can help me.
I have a web browser with the page with links like xxxx.com/xxx/xxx/xx/document.jsp?url=NATUMONO003/PAG5.HTM inside the code that.jsp. Well. i use mod_rewrite for rewriting the url xxxx.com/xxx/xxx/xx/document.jsp?url=NATUMONO003/PAG5.HTM to xxxx.com/xxx/xxx/xx/document.jsp/url/NATUMONO003/PAG5.HTM ala Amazon. but still is not working.. Anyone can helpme with the rules of mod_rewrite :)
