I compiled the mod_auth_kerb from source. everything seems fine and when I add the Load module line in httpd.conf and restarted httpd. I get

mod_auth_kerb.so is garbled - perhaps this is not an Apache module DSO

Any suggestion.....the module version is the latest which is 5.3 from forgesource.
