I am currently trying to install Mod Perl as per the following intructions:
#- move the Perl subdirectory to C:\Perl, the Apache
#subdirectory to C:\Apache, and the openssl directory
#to C:\openssl.
#
#- add C:\Perl\bin and C:\openssl\bin to your PATH #environment variable.
#
#- edit conf\httpd.conf in C:\Apache to set the desired #server
#directives and then give the command, in C:\Apache (I use C:/Programme/Apache Group/Apache2),
# Apache.exe -n Apache -k install
# Apache.exe -n Apache -k start
#to start the web server.
My default server root settings for conf\httpd.conf are:
ServerRoot "C:/Programme/Apache Group/Apache2"
and apache.exe in in this directory. When I type Apache.exe -n Apache -k install, I get a error message saying that C:/Programme/Apache Group/Apache2 is not a valid directory.
