We have modular msg here, I am looking to create a caller application to operate as a bulletin board. We want an extension on the switch to route to a mailbox that will provide a greeting but not accept messages. Any Suggeetions? Please advise.

Your post might have been better off in the "Avaya: Modular Messaging" forum...

While there isn't an exact match to what you are looking for, you can use caller apps in a similar way. Just setup a caller app that is of type menu.

In the Modular Messaging system you will record and use the extended absence greeting to communicate bulletin board information messages that callers will hear. When the Extended absence message that you record is active in a mailbox the caller will not be able to leave a message in the mailbox.

You willl require a Class of Service that allows the EAG, use TUI MM Aria.
