Mod function 1

Can anyone help
Trying to use the mod function in Business Objects (end user web intelligents)
= mod([call-over date];1) but keep getting error
callover date example - 04/4/2011 09:21:13

trying to sperate date and time into diffent columns as variables

Help / direction appriciated
