MOBX Cellular VMAIl Avoidance

I'm having an issue with the Cellular voicemail avoidance. In the documentation it states that the "MBXT" has to be configured so if the cell phone is out of range or turned off that the call does not go to the Cellular voicemail and goes to Callpilot when the desk phone is called. When I configure the prompt it does stop the calls from going to the cellular vmail, however I cannot not answer a call on my cell when my desk phone is called. I can only answer calls when MBXT is set to "0" in the RDB.

Also how does PCA fit into all of this? When I activate that PCA takes over and all my MOBX functinality stops.

cellular call leg answer will be ignored for predetermined amount of time (MBXT timer value)

whats the value you are setting it to?

to me it sounds like you have to ignore the cell call for longer than the timer value and only answer After the timer value has run out, and before the call goes to your PBX voice mail....

I tried setting it to 1,25,50 and cannot answer on any those settings. If I set it to 0 I can answer it but then cell vmail avoidance is not active.

Yes, everything works when mbxt is set to zero except for cell vmail avoidance.

Yes the cell does ring when I set it to one or another number, however I cannot answer the cell when it is et to those number. Only on 0 I can answer the cell.

try to set it to 1 and let the Cell Ring 2 full times before picking up on the cell phone.

I was able to finally answer it, however if the cell phone is turned off it goes straight to my cell phone voicemail. I've tried multiple timer settings and it goes immediately to my cell phone voicemail if it is off. I've finally opened a ticket with the vendor and have them or Avaya (patch) resolve the issue.

This appears to be an issue with Verizon wireless devices. The feature works perfectly fine with AT&T and US Cellular devices. Has anyone else came across this?
