Mobility Extension - Cannot handoff to Handset

Any one experienced this problem with Mobility Extension

Everything working well (twining to cell phone, transfering calls from twined device back to extensions etc) except the handoff back to extension.

After you have answered a call on a twin device, you cannot pick up the call on your desktop phone by pressing its prime line key.

system details:
MAS 1.2ur1 / Mobility V1.7 / ICP 3300 V9ur2 / 5330 handsets
 
How is your prime line programmed? If it's multicall then you won't be able to pick it up.
Next, check your COS and be sure that Privacy Release is enabled.

Better yet, upgrade to ver 4.0 where the handoff is "really cool!"

Is 1st time I have attempted implementation of ME with something less than MCD 4.

And I recall V9ur2 was bug ridden, yet haven't found anything in subsequent release notes about issues in regard to ME yet.

As you say may have to upgrade to MCD 4

I forgot what version it was but one of the new ME versions integrates everything into personal ring groups. Check your 3300 and see if you have a bunch of entries for personal rings groups. if thats the case then you need to use the handoff feature or dial 5 from your cell phone to push the call back to your PRG.

Can't remember if prime light extinguished..Have to check next on site.

Not using ring groups, this is straight twining. Don't have option to dial 5 in mas 1.2ur1 / V9
 
Mystery eventually solved....

Had Private Release enabled for Handset cos only.....

Also needed to enable Rrivacy Release within desktop mon cos as well.
