Does the Avaya IPO Mobility app for Android work well with 9.1. Is the app stable and reliable? Do the users like it over just Twinning?

hello rhinorhino
the app uses your data which means your Internet connection on the system side as well.
It works fine as long as your network plays along and your cell provider is not the cheapo provider that restricts your data speed.

I used it for years on 9.1 without mayor issues but there might be the odd hiccup or dropped call just like with any other connection.
I still prefer twinning though because the app eats up battery life and my cell phone is a few years old now.
Twinning and FNE setup so that I can turn it off or a time profile as I hate getting woken up at night for no good reason.

Thanks. That's what I thought I think I will stick with twinning it always works like you said never a problem. It's enough that I have to worry about the IP from the it vendor that always messes around with the networks I don't want to have to worry about an outdated app or hacking or malware or having the app discontinued etc and depending on third party vendors.. simpler is better thanks
