500v2 8.1.65 - Site A has the PRI and Site B calls out through Site A when they dial 9. The problem I am having is that twinned calls show the original callers ID, but twinned calls from site B show the extension number instead (I'm assuming this is because when the extension number comes into site A the phone system recognizes it as the original caller ID). Is there a special short code I need to build to fix this? I have the 'send original caller ID' checkbox checked on both systems.

have user at site B be created on site A and hot desk to site B. Then the call forks at site A, and outgoing CLID is maintained?

all sorts of other implications to this, obviously (user licenses, LD implications etc.), but it should work.

Grey Beard, that is exactly the scenario I have. There is one user that hot desks between locations and his mobile twinning stays on all the time, but if he logs his phone into site B is when his mobile twinning loses original caller ID and instead gets his extension number.

what happens if he's created on site B, but his MT number is (say) 8+MT twinning number, and 8N goes to a ARS and out over the SCN to site A, 8 is stripped and sent to PRI? Same thing?

have you tried Nss in the short codes to send the callers ID across a VoIP line?
