That depends on your phone and your bluetooth adapter that you have for your computer.
Basically, you are creating an FTP connection to get files off the phone , using a Modem to transmit data through your phone, or you can try to make your bluetooth adapter look like a headset or something similar.
Nokia has a Phone Suite and Motorola has PhoneTools or something like that...
