Hi,

Our company is setting up a support team for our client.
Each support team member will be equipped with a notebook and MOBILE internet connection something like 3G GPRS. This wireless broadband is Dynamic IP based.

There is a need to access client production system (Tandem) thru Citrix server via WWW.

Questions:
1) Can Citrix server allow access from Dynamic IP. If yes, perfect situation.

2) If not allow Dynamic IP, can Citrix server be configured to authenticate network card MAC (Physical address).

Would appreciate if anyone has done similar setup share his/her input or comment.

Many thanks in advanced.

regards,
Chee Ming

heecm,

We provide a similar sort of access systems for many of our clients. Can you clarify a couple of points:

1. Are the Citrix servers behind some sort of Firewall etc and if so is that the Dynamic IP address?

2. Does the client have any sort of on-site VPN technology?

Regards,
