Dear all,

I would like to activate GSM DECT facility in my MX-One TSWSP07 system.
which board i need to install and what parameters to be set?
also, how this facility is to be activated in the mobile phones?

which mobile phone models are supported for this facility?

Thanks & Regards

Monro

DECT is an "intermal" form of mobile phones, that can be added to your MD110 PBX with an ELU31 board and a number of BS330 base stations.
To this you must add licenses for the basestations and the DECT handsets.

If you want to add "external" GSM mobiles phones - maybe in a kind of "closed user group" you must speak with your local mobile phone provider. To connect this kind of service a PRA (ISDN30/E1 or T1) is needed. The board for the MD110 is TLU76/1.
(This service is dependent of whta service your local GSM provider can offer.)

Hi doktor,
Thanks for your reply. I found that my question was not correct about what i am thinking.(and there is no scope of deleting/editing the post it remained there)

actually I am talking about the IP based DECT base stations & DECT Phones.
This(IP-DECT) is a total new funda for me.
I want to know, wheather this IP-DECT will work with TSW?
And how this is installed with the elu31?

IP-DECT will only work with server base MX-ONE systems (TSE) not TSW. IP-DECT uses the normal DECT phones but the basestations are on the network and they talk SIP with the PBX. TSW does not support SIP, that is the reason it will never work on TSW.

ohh ho! Disappointing news!

Thanks for the information daddy!

let me try to find out some other solutions for my requirement.

Thanks again

You need to upgrade your TSW to MX-ONE to get this to work.
And it works OK!

Daddy,

Is there any possibility / developments from Aastra to add SIP functionality on TSW?

Thanks,

Not that I am aware of.
The chosen path to the future is TSE, TSW solely exists for backward compability and the "jump upgrade" platform to TSE.

Cheers,
Daddy

MD110 (TSW) will not be equipped with the possibility to run the SIP protocol...
MX-ONE is to be used instead.
