Hello guys,
Currently I have running 5 AP's all hardwired into our network with 2.4ghz antennas that feed WiFi to our scan guns.
We are having some issues in the furthermost areas of the property and I would like to configure a Cisco 1242AG AP as a mobile repeater that would be on a golf cart.
The question is, do I just need one antenna on the mobile AP that will repeat the 2.4ghz antenna on the root ap? Or do I need 2 antennas, a 2.4/5ghz on the root AP and a 2.4/5ghz on the repeater?
