MO-Activity - GP7.5g53

Hi All ,

I was hoping to get a clear answer on what the definition of MO Activity is…

We are on GP 7.5g53

I noticed that when watching the history of MO’s , at the bottom of the MO entry screen there is a bar displaying the user id and the date when the MO in view was last changed ,

If I go to the picklist screen through the goto button , that bar at the bottom of the MO entry screen then changes and displays that I’ve changed this MO,

I never actually changed anything at all , I viewed the picklist for it! , If I check the MO Activity , there is no entry at all…. , even though it says there was a change at the bottom of the MO Entry screen (when there wasn’t)!

Anyone ever seen this? ,

We're also on 7.5 but haven't updated to SP5 or 6, I think but I hope the windows you're referring to haven't changed.

Let me understand what you're doing here. Are you trying to view a Completed or an Open/Released MO?

If its Open/Released then everytime you look at the Picklist then system would register it as a Change so the MO Activity window would show your name under User ID.

Our MO Activity would have 3-4 'Picklist Build' - Reason Code because a lot of people needs to approve the MO before building it.

Something is out to lunch on our sys then , The error I posted on actually went away after the MRP run on the weekend ,

In regard to the MO status , It didn't happen with the complete and partial recieved , But from what your saying ... , What was a temporary glitch for us (that appeared to be an error) Was actually how it was meant to work? , Make sense if you need to send the MO through an approval chain , (we also have a similiar requirement) ,

So as at sits now on our sys, When I view any MO , they only time I'll see "Picklist Build" is if I press that button on the MO Entry , Viewing it will not invoke any change record to happpen... ,

Interesting/Frustrating all at the same time!!!

There must be a setting somewhere that is driving this? , Any ideas?

No setup that I know of, this is how the system works.

Hmmm , think i'm gonna cry! , So we had this "trail" of activity for about 24hrs , and we've had GP since Feb ...
