I have a question about my MNS Cluster I am building, here is the history...
Before building the cluster, I rename all the NIC's (Private, Public1 Public2, Public Team). I then build the first node of the MNS cluster and everything goes fine as expected, however when i build the second node the same way as the first node (renaming nics etc) once the cluster is built I find the nics are renamed again like this "Private(1)" "Public1(2)" etc.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Should I be naming the nics on both servers a different unique name? What is the standard naming that most people use?
