Has anyone come across a command to verify the MN3300 Hardisk size prior to an installation in the VX works shell.
The SI tool used to do it, due to the mix of Maxtor drives being 10GB,20GB in the early MN3300's around version 4 to 6.
The reason I ask is that I recently upgraded a 700 User from 7.1 to 8.0 UR3 and it dropped dead within 5 days with hard drive failure as OPSMAN could not get a
datasave off it.
It turned out to have a 20GB Maxtor in it, it was replaced with an 80GB Hitachi and works a treat now happily doing its backups.
This would save going to site and undoing the screwplates and covers to see the Hard drive physically.

On the 3300 Shell, type the following:

ataShow

This will provide the hard drive information you need.
