MMR1 Voice Prompts

I have a question for the Merlin Messaging guru.
I notice when accessing the call group for the MMr4
the voice prompt is immediate.
With a MMr1, there is at least a 1 to 2 second delay
before the MM prompt lady says "Welcom to Merlin Messaging"
Is this that way it is supposed to be or is there a
setting in the MMR1 permieters to shorten this delay.

There are no settings in the mail.

It also sends mode codes between answering and prompting which are sometimes rotary which take time to do.
