mmdf error

Hi! Gurus
I need urgent help.For u all it may be easy but headache for me.
Running SCO UNIX5 as a email server.
there are lots of email returning to my mmdf account.
These all emails have error MMDF failed.
Contents inside the say, " failed to deliver the after trying four days. This is due to link failure at the receiving end."
What is causing this error and what may be done.

- are all failed emails going to the same destination?
- it is always failing to the same destination?
