MMC: Performance Monitor

I am using the Microsoft Management Console to monitor various performance counters against servers in our environment. To add different servers and counters via the UI is very tedious and takes a while.

Is there anyway this can be scripted or a saved .msc file amended? Any tips\tricks for this would help big time.
