I'm gonna get lots of disappointed faces when I ask this but here goes...

I set up a standalone win2k computer and I mistakenly denied access to run MMC in the group policy snap-in...for administrators. Is there any way I can get back control of the MMC without looking at a reformat of the entire computer? I know it was a dumb move but in my haste I saved the changes...any help would have my eternal gratitude and thanks...

Can you run gpedit.msc? (which policy did you set to dent access to mmc? 'Don't run specified windows applications' is only one I can find - and doesn't sound quite right).

Tek-tips experts never let me down. I tried both solutions and both got me back! A big thank you to wolluf and mapleleaf for your answers... You guys rock! I guess you can tell I'm very appreciative, huh? Take care.
