MM710 E1 DS1 loop back test

Hi all,
I was asked to make loop back test to MM710.
do i have to do something more then connect TX and RX together on MM710 and check if the link is up?

Just make loop from 1 to 4 and a loop from 2 to 5
Then you should see the same on the card like there is a T1/E1 is connected

If the card is faulty then you will see nothing !
If the card is oke then you see the same on the card like there is a T1/E1 is connected
