I have a user that is getting multiple 0 length voicemail message notifications that do not show where the call is coming from. I figured maybe it was unavailable or blocked...all that is showing is "voicemail message (0 seconds)" and "external caller (PRIMASxx). I have tried matching up the date/time with call reports and only one matches (no phone number showing)...all others are not there. She also has been checking her phone's call log and nothing shows there - not even a hint of a call...

So, do I just change the TUI minimum message length from 0 to 1 and be done with it? Any other thoughts? They are concerned about who is doing this.

If I do change the setting...will that require a reboot? Seems you have to reboot for everything anymore...

Questions for you:
Is the name of the MAS start with PRIMAS? If so, the number of the MAS is it the one that runs the Call ME service?
Have you checked the subscriber options on the mailbox for notifications setup?
Changes on the COS or Mailbox don't require a reboot. VMSC (Voice mail system configuration) affect the entire voice mail domain and if requiring a reboot you will receive a popup.

Well...it helps to know ALL the details. I got it straight from the horse's mouth instead of a 3rd party - turns out there is an extension associated with this user's voicemail. Calls are going to the 2nd extension - callers are not leaving messages - sometimes the calling # is not showing probably because it is PRIVATE and since they are not leaving a message, "0" seconds. Tadah...

You can change the minimum length of a message to 1 second so that cant happen in the VMSC to avoid that in the future.
