enabled MWI via AD user - set for voice and fax

event logs shows : EVENT ID 171
A Voice server has reported that a set operation on staion 5005 has failed with error 0x81010010 . As the RequestedID provided was not vaild , the operation will be disgarded

I have done an MWI update -

stop the following

call me
MWI service
Mailbox Monitor

started the following

Mailbox Monitor
MWI service
call me

I have also rebooted the MAS

these 2 methods have helpled me in th past

___________________________________________________________

after stopping and starting the 3 services I see events

event 108
the messaging waiting indicator service has established a connection the the voice server abcmas01 , the server will send notification using this server

after doing an update : EVENT ID 4000

the messaging waiting indicator server has accepted a request with low priorityto refresh extensions 5005 using cached data

then I get the event id 171

using H.3232 integration ( 30 trunks )
* 01 thru 29 in default group ( inbound / outbound )
* 30 in MWI ( outbound )

I just installed the exact same setup 2 weeks ago and I had no issues with MWI

cheers : )

Did this ever work? Check the signalling group to make sure it has a trunk entered in the fields it needs to have one, also make sure NCA-TSC and CA-TSC are filled out in the signalling group(typically 10).

texeric
no - new install

the signal group does have the 10 for NCA-TSC and CA-TSC
and we have 30 trunks as its a MM3.1 -

in VMSC -
default - channels 01 - 29 inbound / outbound
MWI - channels 30 / outbound

thank you for the post -

remove the 2 stations that are in as the QSIG TSC Extension:

and the QSIG Path Replacement Extension:

and then put them back in. It has worked for me before

Ken & texeric ,
I get the boob of the month award !!! - issue was with send reroute request in hunt group set to : y - after checking everything under the sun I could think of -
set it to n all set

I will remeber this one !!!!

its pays to take a break every once and awhile and just walk away _ I had far to many things to install in 2 short days

as soon as I had a clear mind - took all of 15 minutes to find
