MM3.0 with Exchange backend.

When accessing the Modular Messaging AD tab for recently created users the following message is displayed "Unable to access Modular Messaging Information - The mailbox is not yet available. If you have just created the mailbox wait for at least 5 minutes before retrying".

The users can send and receive email without any issues.

The MAS recently had a reboot (2 weeks ago)

All existing users are using voicemail without any issues.

Any ideas?
 
Where are you accessing the AD tab from ? Have you tried from the MAS? It sounds like the user login may not have perrmission to the tab.

Hi Ken,

I'm logged in using the mmacct (MM Service account) onto the MAS.
 
You may end up having to rebuild the FEDB. A lot of admins dont wait for 10 minutes for the FEDB to sync with the backend. I have been guilty in the past of not waiting as well.
A rebuild fixed this same issue with a MAS 1.1 w/ Exch for me.
 
We have some systems that take 15 minutes to sync and only have 50 users on it.

If you need the rebuild info let me know. I think i posted it before.

Many thanks for your help. I carried out a FEDB rebuild which resolved the issue.
