I am installing the 3.1 Web Client and when I log into my mailbox I don't have any folders on the left side of the screen "new" "saved" etc. anybody else seen this? There is information in the help screen about hiding the folders but that doesn't seem to be it.

Do you have service pack 2 for 2003 on the server? If you do it will act like that.

No, Version 5.2 Service Pack 1, when I use Fire Fox instead of IE i get the error

var defaultImapFldr = "

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0115'

Unexpected error

/webmsg/scripts/inboxnav.asp

A trappable error (C0000005) occurred in an external object. The script cannot continue running.

Is the server it is running on a domain controller or backup domain controller? If it is it will also cause this problem.

No the web client is on it's own S3500 server that is not a domain controller. I opened a ticket, hopefully Denver gets back to me today.

Let me know what you find as I have only run into this on the above mentioned problems.

Hey Ken
We had to add 2 lines to the inboxnav.asp file
<script>
<% if showIMAP4 then %>
var defaultImapFldr = "<%=UserMailboxIMAP4.ServerStore.Folders(FldrDefault).displayName%>"
<% end if %>
<%=Debug("inboxnav scripts 1")%>

Thanks did they say how the lines may have been removed?

Nope, I think that this file may have worked with the 3.0 Web Client. Can you think of a way to block incoming messages using the audix TUI? They had Call Answer Disable on their MAP100 but I cannot find a way to do it. They have agents that when they go on vacation, maternity etc that they don't want receiving messages. I have tried different COS in the MM with no success. Even Call Block in the ARIA TUI wouldn't be right because that is only calls transferred from the AA.

The only way i have done this is with COS where they can only have 1 min worth of messages and then send one to it so it is full.

You can do this through the use of Caller Applications. Basically the Caller App would be built like a bulletin board or Announce Only mailbox. You would have to move the mailbox to a COS that utilized this Caller App and then they would have to record an announcment versus their standard greeting. When they come back the COS would have to be switched back.
