Are there concerns regarding storage on Micro Exchange regarding Modular Messaging? We want fax to desktop but it seems this opens the ability for all your messaages to go to your desk top? How do you prevent people from saving messages within microsoft exchange? Thank You!

The only way to do that cleanly is to use a MSS for the message store.

So Ken to clarify even more. We do not want users to be able to drag voice mail messages into their MicoSoft Excange can we prevent this, if so how. Can you turn this off by user (maybe by a COS)/ Can you turn off recieving VM to to the AVaya desktop mailbox but leave faxing in place? Thank You!
I do not think you can. The class of service can be set to not allow client access but then that would not let the faxing to the plugin in outlook. You may be able to block on the exchange side the ability to have a wav file but to allow a .tif file for the fax but i have never seen this done in this kind of setup.
