MM R3.0: no MWI with fax messages

Greetings,

I'm doing acceptance testing for an MM R3.0 (MSS) that will be installed soon. Everything tests good except for MWI for fax messages.

When I send a fax to a fax-enabled mailbox, the MWI lamp on the phone does not light. Using the operational history viewer, I can see fax call hit the MAS, however, the MWI server does not lighting the lamp; instead, the MWI server is resetting the lamp on the mailbox. The mwiview utility shows the lamp state of the fax extension to be off. I've confirmed that the fax has been received by the mailbox, just no MWI.

I've doubled checked the COS settings for the fax mailbox and subscriber mailboxes, and both look fine. Station settings are ok because MWI functions properly with call answer messages.

Any clues to help the clueless?

Check the subscriber options to make sure it is set to all messages for MWI. It may only be set for voice.

UPDATE:

MWI is working for faxes. Ken, I took your suggestion and created an MWI rule in Subscriber Options and enabled voice and fax. I also applied the latest patch to the MAS.
