I have a user who, when logging into their MM from the phone, after entering in the correct password, it says "invalid login"

Have troubleshooted the following:
made sure no erros/alarms on the mas
double checked password in the mss
deleted and re-added the account
plenty of licensing

can not recreate issue with other users.

please advise.
thanks!

Can they log on any other way ? WSO or WebClient using the password?

If you look at the FEDB is the mailbox number in more than one entry ?

When did they hear this? How long after the mailbox was created did the end-user try to access it?
You can get this warning if the FEDB on the MAS has not been updated yet with the new mailbox add.
If you have more than one MAS you could test if this is heard every time or sporadic and then using the Op History Viewer validate which MAS you hit when you hear the warning.

found the problem to be related with the MM Client in outlook.
The password there did not match what was inputted in the MSS.

But now,
When we access the voicemail through the phone, the system will ask for the password to be changed to a new 4 digit code.
When we do that, it asks us to confirm.
When we do that, the system notifies us with this recording "im sorry, there is a problem with the system"

Any idea?

And all of the others are working fine right ?

It sounds to me like the FEDB needs to be rebuilt did you look in the FEDB to see if you had a duplicate ?

Also what error code do you see in the App log when this happens ?

Where would i find a dup FEDB?

This is the error i recieve:
Source: gv-vserver
Category: User Profile
Event: 1519
User: SYSTEM

tools\fedb run the .exe file and look at it with notepad to see if the user or number is in the file on more than one line. If it is you will need to have the FEDB synched

I had a similar issue, in my case I was using a different voice mail domain, that affected the subscriber.

ran the FEDB file and it cleared everything up.
Thanks everyone!
