MM Exchange storage w/Names Directory issues

We have 5 users who’s names aren’t listed in the directory of names. I modified their “Voice Mail Domain’s” under the Modular Messaging tab of AD from txvmd2 to SDMMVMD1 and their names were listed. But that in turn made their mailboxes unreachable. I undid the voicemail domain change and that corrected their voicemail issue but now they are not listed in the directory of names.

And i assume you mean they are not in the spell by name directory right ?

You may need to rebuild the FEDB but how long ago did you put them back in ?

If you run the FEDB GUI do they show in it ?

If you are asking about the DBN featue in MM, DBN will only "see" people from the same VMD as you called into. So if John Smith was in VMD1 and you called into the MM system that is using VMD2 then it won't see John Smith because he is in a different VMD.
