This is a minor issue, but is there a way to change the what the MM displays on phones when covering to voicemail or when someone Zero's out? Right now it displays mmacct. I was asked to install this system with no previous knowledge of it, so I may have overlooked something simple.

It will show the trunkgroup name so if you change it the display should change also. You do not want to put any numbers in the name as it may do odd things

Hmm... The trunk group name in the 8300 is "Modular Messaging", but that is not what shows on the phone. It's like it is showing the account of the user on the MAS the service was installed as.

I'm assuming that you are using IP integration to the switch. There was a software problem that was fixed with MM service pack 5 (I think) that takes care of the display showing the correct name instead of the MM account name.

I also assumed you are on Release 2. MM service pack 5 for release 2 takes care of the problem.

You are correct on both counts.. IP Integration and Release 2. Thanks for that. What is the easiest way to get SP5 for MM?

Usually you go to the Avaya Download Center and click on the Download My Software link and login to download software. I would also check and see what MM service pack is currently on your systems.
