MM client error message

Hi, hope someone can help.

One of our users sometimes gets the following message when they try to listen to a voicemail:

Unable to play. Fax tone detected so operation was terminated.

(0x80041420)

Any ideas what this is and how to fix?

Are they using the phone or speakers when they do this? If it is the phone then it sounds like the call is rolling to a fax or somthing that is sending a fax tone. Could it be they are off hook already when they want the system to call them?
